Red Lion Spicy Foods Logo 20 Pepper Chili

 

2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork sausage
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 16 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 16 oz. jar Red Lion Spicy Foods 20 Pepper Salsa
1 large yellow onions, diced
4 stalks celery, diced
1 large red bell pepper, diced
1 14.5 oz. can chicken broth
1 14.5 oz. can beef broth
1 32 oz. can pinto beans
1 package Red Lion Spicy Foods Company Chili Mix - Zesty, Zippy or Zany

 

Brown beef and pork in a large pot. Drain off the fat, reserving one tablespoon.
Put fat back into the pot and add vegetables. Cook vegetables over medium high heat,
until tender, about 10 minutes. Add all other ingredients except the beans.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours.
Drain and rinse the beans and add to the pot. Simmer an additional two hours.
Serve with corn bread, pickled jalapenos and shredded cheddar cheese

 

Makes about 16 cups, and freezes very well!
