Red Lion Spicy Foods Logo Gary's Chili

1/2 Vidalia onion, chopped
1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic
3 lbs. boneless beef rib meat, cut into 3/4 inch pieces
1 package Red Lion Spicy Foods Company Zany Chili Mix
1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 12 oz. can beer
1/2 tsp. Spontaneous Combustion(TM) hot sauce
1 16 oz. can pinto beans

 

Saute the onion and garlic in 1/4 cup of vegetable oil until soft.
Add beef and cook until brown.
When the meat is browned, add the chili mix, stirring in slowly
until the meat is coated and the mix is dissolved.
Add the crushed tomatoes, beer, hot sauce and beans.
Cook over low heat for 3 hours.
