Red Lion Spicy Foods Logo Red Death Chili

 

2 lbs. diced beef (chuck or tri-tip)
1 lb. diced pork loin chop (two medium chops)
1 lb. ground beef (chili grind if available)
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce (El Pato if available)
1 medium purple onion, diced
1 14.5 oz. can chicken broth
1 14.5 oz. can beef broth
2 tbs. cumin
1 16 oz. jar Red Lion Spicy Foods Company 20 Pepper Extra Hot Salsa
1 2 oz. package Red Lion Spicy Foods Company XX Hot Chili Powder

 

In a large pot, cook meat over low heat, until browned, about 10 minutes.
Remove meat from pot and drain.
Add the tomato sauce, broth, salsa and chili powder to the pot and stir to blend.
Add the meat to the pot. Simmer for 2 hours, and add the cumin.
Simmer an additional 20 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
Serve with diced onions, pickled jalapenos and pinto beans on the side.
