Red Lion Spicy Foods Logo Venison Chili #3

 

3 lbs. diced venison (loin)
2 diced pork chops
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 garlic cloves
1 large sweet onion, quartered
2 jalapeno chiles, coarsely chopped
1 large sweet bell pepper, quartered
1 14.5 oz. can beef broth
1 32 oz. can pinto beans
8 tbs. Red Lion Spicy Foods Company Competition Blend Chili Mix

 

Cook venison and pork until browned.
In a blender, puree the onion, chiles, sweet pepper and garlic
with 1/2 of the stock and add to the pot.
Add the tomato sauce, chili powder and remaining stock to the pot.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer.
Simmer for one hour, then drain the beans and add to the pot.
Simmer an additional one hour.
